Before Star Wars, the island was best known for the ruins of the ancient sixth century monastery with its Beehive Huts.
It is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is home to large colonies of seabirds including puffins, storm petrels, northern gannets, choughs, manx shearwater, fulmars and more.
