Rose of Tralee Festival 2018

The Rose of Tralee Festival 2018 is  bigger and better than ever.

This years festival is on from Friday 17th August to Tuesday 21st August.

The main activity centres around the selection of the Rose of Tralee 2018 and this takes place in “The Dome” (a temporary event tent) over two nights.
There follows a Rose Ball, A Fashion Show, a Rose Disco and a Party with the Roses which are also held in the Dome.

Elsewhere, including on the street there are various music events, mostly free.
This year Jake Carter, Big Generator, The Kilkennys, Hermitage Green, The High Kings, The Renegades and Oracle are among the acts performing,

Apart from that there will be street entertainment, a street market, Fossetts Circus, Parades and Fireworks, a 10k road race, acrobats, Bird’s Amusements and lots more.

As usual there will be lots of activities including music sessions in most of the pubs in the town.

This is a festival which has something for visitors of all ages.
