Kerry Way Ultra 2018 is an endurance run over two days and one night on 7th and 8th September, starting and finishing in Killarney town.
Athletes will run the full length of The Kerry Way non-stop and it will take up to 40 hours to complete. The Kerry Way is a trail around spectacular mountain ranges with fantastic coastal views, around lakes, bogs over a variety of surfaces including tarred roads, by-ways and mountain tracks underfoot.
It is about 200km long around the Iveragh Peninsula.

This event is not for the faint-hearted and should not be undertaken by inexperienced or unfit runners. Runners must have completed at least two marathons since September 2017, one 50 mile event or one 100k event.
The entry fee of €125 is required and any surplus will be donated to The Kerry Way.
Kerry Way Ultra Lite
This is a shorter easier version of The Kerry Way Ultra at about 58k, and it will be run at the same time as the longer event.
It starts at Sneem at 9am on Saturday, Sept 8th and finises in Killarney before 10pm on the same day.
