Kerry International Film Festival 2019 is based in Killarney with screenings mainly in Killarney Cinema and St. Mary’s Church.
This is the 20th year of the festival which has become an an internationally recognised film festival which presents “outstanding short and feature films, plus a unique film score programme the festival celebrates emerging filmmaking talent, introduces filmmakers to the industry at large, and creates new film experiences for audiences.”
Some Irish Premieres will be screened including Rare Beasts, the directing debut of Actress Billie Piper.
Also the Irish Premiere of . The Peanut Butter Falcon, “a modern-day spin on Mark Twain’s Adventures of Huckleberry Finn from the producers of Little Miss Sunshine.”
There will be films and shorts from Kerry based producers and directors as well as the best in new Irish and International Short Films.
