Muxnaw Lodge is a Kenmare Ireland B&B in a Victorian house which was built in 1801 as a Summer hunting and fishing residence. I was converted for accommodation in Kenmare by the host Hannah Boland and her family and completely modernised and adapted while keeping many of the period features of the house.
There is free onsite parking at Muxnaw Lodge as well as free WiFi throughout the house.
This large Kenmare B&B is set in mature landscaped gardens, with a tennis court and has some nice trees on the grounds.
This house is a very popular accommodation choice in Kenmare and usually has to be booked well in advance. It gets a very high rating from customers on booking.com (9.4/10). It is unlikely that you can find a vacancy there by calling on the day of your arrival.

All the rooms are ensuite with baths and power showers and are individually furnished with antiques and solid wood furniture.
There is a TV and tea/coffeemaking facilities in the rooms.
This house may not be suitable for children (0-12 years)

The breakfast at this B&B is highly praised by guests who are also very complimentary of the welcome and attention given by the host.
