Kerry Drama Festival 2023 is on at The Ivy Leaf Theatre in Castleisland, a wonderful venue located in an old church. This has been the venue for The Kerry Drama Festival for many years.
The 2022 festival was a great success following the disruption caused by Covid 19 in the previous two years..
This years programme is back to normal with 7 nights of great theatre performed by some of our favourite groups as well as a few newer groups.
These are some of the best Amateur Drama Societies in Ireland and will be recognised by regular patrons of The Ivy Leaf Theatre in Castleisland.

These performances are part of the qualifying rounds for the All Ireland Amateur Drama finals of the Open and Confined competitions which are held in Athlone later in 2023.
This year’s adjudicator is Ailbhe Garvey Hughes. She will give a summary of the performance each night and award the prizes on the final night.
