This hideaway, although featured on TV and other media, is not very widely known. Many people in Kerry didn’t even know of its existence before its owner, Billy Alexander, won acclaim at the Chelsea Flower Show in 2018.
Guests at the house will enjoy great views of Kells Bay and across Dingle Bay as well as the surrounding mountains. It is no wonder that it is known as the ‘Jewel on the Ring’.

Dining at Kells Bay House
The food at Kells Bay is nothing like you find at an ordinary B&B.
As well as the superb breakfast, guests can enjoy freshly-made sandwiches, scones, salads, cakes and much more in the Conservatory Café throughout the day.
And in the Delligeenagh River Café, run by Billy’s wife, Penn, guests can enjoy a wide variety of authentic Thai dishes.
