Glenbeigh is the next village you come to as you travel south from Killorglin towards Cahersiveen. It is just about a mile or so to the beach nearby and it is a popular holiday destination.
What’s in Glenbeigh?
Rossbeigh Beach, which is a short drive from the village is one of Kerry’s finest beaches. It sandy beach stretches for miles, much of it sheltered by sand dunes. It is a really popular spot during the Summer and is suitable for swimming, surfing, wind surfing and other water sports. All year round the beach is popular with walkers.
There are quite a number of B&Bs, Self Catering units and Caravan Parks in the vicinity.
This village has two hotels, some good pubs, restaurants and shops.
